For now, I think i will use the chargers only after the battery indicator is blinking to prevent overcharging too much. Maybe after a year or so i will look for the replaceable battery..
Thank you for the replies.. ๐Ÿ™‚
It turns off charging when the battery is charged. I use the PB5 and the D16 on the charger all the time at the desk. I have never had an issue and I don't want to charge and discharge the battery, putting it through many cycles. I see no reason to do this.

With the D16 the blue light turn off I assume once charged is complete. I'd hope the PB5 would be the same?

You can keep it plugged in without diminishing the battery's life. According to iBasso:

The charger disconnects when the batteries are fully charged. Once depleted below 8v, it kicks in again.

I get it now, so it is actually alright to charge it all the time, because it is only charging after the battery level down to certain level.. thank you to make it clear..

Do someone knows the exact reference of lipo/li-ion cells used inside the PB5?
Usually most brick shaped cells are easy to find on AliExpress, but if they used something proprietary I won't consider buying this model.
For such device a non user replaceable battery is a deal breaker.

I would just contact Ibasso for them. Considering how often you need them changed, I dont find it an issue

You can always order a original battery from Ibasso, I don't find this a issue at all.
Ibasso designed this for user to easily replace batteries by just 2 screws at the back rather than sending the whole unit in.
