Just for information, bought 2 silver dragon jack-jack cables today for ibasso320max + pb5 + d16 combo with Meze Elite. Brilliant combo! Double quality for all sides

Wondering if I'd even benefit adding the PB5 to my phone, D16 stack. Considering how easy the SR3 is to drive. But then again, one day upgrading the headphones might not be a bad idea to get the PB5 to future proof. Caldara is looking good to upgrade one day

The PB5 adds a nice dimension to the sound. Still, imo, the best semi portable amp on the market.

Are you able to expand on that? A larger soundstage would be good. The D16 is quite intimate.

As my PB5 is getting older and battery life getting shorter, i wonder are anyone here using the pb5 with the power cable plugged in? I have tried it and it works but i dont know if its save for extended period.

I dont use with power plugged in. I would contact Ibasso and Paul to buy the packs and replace them. It is easily replaceable

For now, I think i will use the chargers only after the battery indicator is blinking to prevent overcharging too much. Maybe after a year or so i will look for the replaceable battery..
Thank you for the replies.. 🙂
