Im trying to look for a guide to help with rolling for the P3+ the opamps and buffers it comes with are completely different than those for the P3 so that guide doesn't help me too much. I went to see if I could buy one or two of those mentioned in that thread but there so many versions of the same thing. Im too inexperienced to know which one work with my amp

Also another question my amp makes alot of noise and high pitch tones when I use the ibasso Transistor BUF, I think I might have broke then or something does anyone know where I could buy another set, I really like them

So far ive been using AD797 in the L/R LMH6643 in 3/4 and BUF634 in my amp

You might ensure that the iBasso buffer is inserted with the correct polarity, as that is of utmost importance. These buffers are only available from iBasso.

I would suggest maybe trying a BUF634 in one of the ground sockets. Remember to alway have a dummy opamp in the opposing ground socket if using the V or G single-channel opamp sockets.

The 797s also do a very good job as buffers. You might give that a try. They have good output current and a very musical smooth sound. Kind of tube-like.

The OPA1612 (not in rolling kit) in LR sounds superb with the AD797 buffers and BUF634 + dummy in V & G or THS4032 (not in rolling kit) in center ground.

Do not attempt to use a dual-channel opamp as a buffer. The circuit is only designed for single-channels.

Whatever you do, always double-check opamp polarities before turning on the amp!!!

Is there a Headfi thread/FAQ/wiki/how to website for learning about this kind of headphone amp modification? What I'm realizing is that I know nothing about it so I'd like to learn about it starting with the VERY basics....
