Hi
@dylann5454,
I own the iBasso IT 04 & while I don't own the Klipsch X 12i, I have demo the X 12i extensively but passed due to owning the X 10 many years ago & used the the latter till the cable died.
Since this was before interchangable cables & Klipsch refusing to use interchange cables, I had to forgo all future iterations though it does still temp me from time to time but I digress.
As to comparing them, it all depends on you & what sound experience & preference you are looking for.
If you give me an idea what kind of sound & preference you like, I can help you narrow it down.
Here are some highlights though which may be of interest.
IT 04 -
- Clear highs without high frequency murder
- Ridiculously good detail
- Intimate but spacious sound
- Excellent mid range
- Good natural bass response
X 12 i -
- Clear highs & mid range
- staging dependant on source
- Nice, almost textured bass response but lacks emotional punch
Hope this makes sense, feel free to ask more if you need.
Hope you have a great day !
