I have just ordered DX90 and is naturally curious about what phones you use.
personally, I have in the current situation Philips Fidelio X1, Hifiman RE-262 and Grado SR-80. I will upgrade when I know what works best for the player.

Right now I plan to get Chord Hugo as soon as I can afford. please tell us your favorite phones with Ibasso DX90.

Beyerdynamic phones tend to sound good with DX90. T51p is my favorite portable headphone along with Roxanne. DT250 and DT235 works well. T1 obviously needs an amp to sound it's best. But for very low level listening volume, it sound just as fine.

Grado's sound good as well. I have an SR80i and a 325e.

Actually, the last 4 headphones I bought because sound excellent out of DX90.

Thank you! Great tips.

I think it's interesting that you enter Koss porta pro as you have heard so many headphones with DX90 if I understand correctly.

It would be interesting to share in groups.

* Headphones that block out ambient noise.

* IEM / CIEM

* And the group where Koss belongs that does not block out ambient noise.

Thank you! I saw that there was a sale on T50p in my local grocery store.

The Audio Technica ATH-ESW10jpn are an excellent match with the DX90 for all types of music.. I also highly recommend the Senn HD 25-II if you mostly listen to rock and prefer a more forward sound with some extra bass slam. Both headphones are fairly easy to drive but sound best with the DX90 gain setting in the middle position.

Thanks, I'll set them up as interesting to explore.

For portable use I was using Miles Davis Tribute (original) up until about a week ago. Now I am using RE-400 which after a few slight EQ tweaks sound awesome.

I use the line out when in desktop mode to an Objective 2 amp and the into AKG K550. The O2 will drive quite a huge number of phones well.

People shy from the PortaPro or want higher name recognition but many times they don't know what they are missing. Great phones. They are even recommended by that little player that now costs over 2000 dollars.

I have that little player but haven't bought the portapro coz it seems to be painful on a lady's head regarding comfort
