I recently got a DX80. It has 1.3.3 code on it. Has anyone else noticed that tracks are listed under All Music alphabetically not by track name, but by file name? This results in all track number 1 files listed alphabetically, then all track 2 files, etc. Has this been fixed on 1.5.8? Also, why is 1.6.0 not on the iBasso download page? Thanks for any replies.

There it is, mixed in with the DX200 updates at the top. My eye kept skipping over it. Thanks.

Anyone with 1.6.0 that can check to see if the All Music list is still sorted by file name? Because, if this has not been fixed, I would rather not bother.
I haven't looked yet but the sound of 1.6.0 IMO is the best of the FW's and well worth updating to.

Received the player a few hours ago. The build is great and I love the heft of it. I’ve been playing some DSF files on line out to a receiver or to IEM’s with the phone out and the player gets warm, not hot. Is that normal? It’s not being charged either.

When playing the higher resolution files the DX80 will get warmer. This is normal. There is more CPU and dac use and therefore more current and that translates to more heat.

Hi Paul,

when will there still be a new firmware for DX80?

Thank you.
What issues are you having with the current firmware?
