  I have to send mine back for a battery replacement but cannot till tuesday as it is a Bank holiday weekend here. But will be so glad to get it back it is such a great dap


Have you bought yours from the UK ?
Mine came from http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/ so I would insist that it is sent there if there is a fault.
Saves all the international postage hassle and delay.

Yes I bought mine from Amp3 but it was as soon as the DX80 came out. I doubt it is returnable now. Purchased Wednesday 02 December, 2015

I do not expect it to be returnable either however I would expect an easy fix like a battery replacement to be done by them and not have to return it back to China.
Have spoken Amp3 in the past when I had an issue and I found them to be very good.
Personally I would get in touch with Amp3 and see what they have to say after all you bought it from them and they are the UK agents.

  My DX80 just arrived. Sounds really good but It cant seem to scan my SD card after it reaches 65%...


Be sure you have the latest firmware version downloaded and installed from iBasso web site. Currently it is 1.5.8.

It could be the formatting of the card. You can use FAT32 or ExFat. Is this a new card? You can also try a factory reset on the DX80.

I dont believe there's any insurance with First Class mail. Right now i'm particularly frustrated over this as the DX80 fit the bill as a portable, nice sounding, and functional player. I'm going to wait two more weeks and then consider what to do to replace it.


I will make sure you are covered. I just hope it shows up and sorry for the delay.
