If I use an amp, which most of the time isn't needed, I like the micro Zotl 2 and the P5.

I bought the DX80 for the DSD Micro for the dual slots and optical, I like the sound from the Micro a lot. I would highly recommend the iFi DSD Micro.

It was at least me. Thank you for this information. And sorry If I was rude to you before about your impression with Dunu DN2000J and DX80. I actually read more of your posts and decided to take your word in great consideration and bought the Dunu. Still in their journey to me.. Also read that people are turning the volume more up than they were expecting. And this can help with hiss. Thanks again and sorry. But later I talked to a user in PM and he told me his DN2000J hiss a little (very little) with DX80. So, I believe sensibility of the person highly matters. Let's see how it goes for me.

No prob, we all have our days. I can only report my experience and to my ears they sound great. There's always the possibility that these old ears aren't quite as sensitive to hiss as they use to be. I hope you like them, please let me know how they work out for you.

I'd love to hear it, from what I've read the PM3 is a really good headphone. Comfort, build and of course sound. Question, when you run the iDSD is it using the DX80 or iDSD as the DAC?

Hi, how do you achieve that, I mean bypassing DX80 DAC? I do not see any "bit streaming option" or something along those lines in DX80

When using optical/coax out it bypasses the DAC. I could be wrong but this is what I recall.

Today my wife surprised me by ordering me a DX80 and Dignis case. My DX90's phone out jack just started acting up recently and despite having the internal connections re-soldered it might need repairs at the source. My new toy arrives Monday, which cannot come soon enough! I've already downloaded Lurker0's firmware mods for 1.3.3, 1.4.0, and 1.4.2 in advance.

I have the Dignis case also (cognac color), and it's really high quality. Expensive, but worth it.
