Excellent thread! I've tried to make my own wallpapers using some anime pics but turns out they usually make the text a lot less readable so I'll stick with AlexTES's. Thank you!

What I would do on your case, is take it to Photoshop and darken the image, so the letters become legible. :) if you need help doing that, just let me know.

Great images, thanks everyone for sharing. Here's mine , which I got from the web somewhere and have been using on my Mac...
