How does the charge progress when both analog and digital batteries are low? Does one fill up before the other?

I never got it down to a zero for both. Might try it later. So far once analog hits zero I connect charger again, hear the sound resumes right away and it continues to charge from there.

Interesting thanks! Looking forward to more impressions!

I confirm DX300 is the first DAP I have owned that runs so cool... simply doesn't get hot!

yes, same here. Nice and cool

usually i find a new dap runs hot straight away for the first 24 hours or so. (Caps and wifi etc..)
Its been cool the whole time - even in my heavily heated room.

When one runs down, you plug the unit in and it charges both and when one is at 100% is trickle charges and the other one continues to charge until done. Very fast charging.

I have been using IEMs and the digital battery runs down first. I get 14 or 15 hours but have been using some hi res so that takes more juice but all in all, great battery life!

Really nice! Is that in Android or Mango OS?

Ouch dx300 is super articulated even for something being out of the box I am extremely impressed.

I feel the bass as strong on M8 and dx300 they have same bass but dx300 has so much control that M8 dont even sound as clear now 🥺😰 what is going on. I suddenly love the dx300 bass more 🤔

The detail and clarity and the echoes that I hear is simply phenomenal wow.

So natural yet so musical with a nice warm taste yet transparent hmmm very very impressive ibasso
This so unexpected from a 0 hours of run and already sounding like a champ damnPXL_20210115_041145168.jpg

Shish now back to M8 and oh nooo, cant believe how clear and detailed is dx300 very very nuanced. M8 is much mushier and warmer but in a sense where it becomes less articulated and clear. It has like a haze while dx300 is 100% transparent but still musical and the bass is so so tight and precised really good.

Ok now time will tell who stays 😅

Great to hear, especially pre-burn in! Well...not for Mr. M8 lol.

How's it compare to R8?

One thing I notice, and I have a number of daps, is that the DX300 doesn't sound like any of them. Very distinctive and in a good way.

It is interesting R8 tought has around 500 hours burn in and ibasso 0 lol
Bur at this stage R8 shows more open sound and more natural. I am again hearing Hibys R8 signature the super natural as life like sound.

I think dx300 need more burn in to really confirm things like is R8 have more clarity or is it dx300? But atm R8 wins in the lightest and airiest feel to the sound.
I am also quiet impressed by how lifelike R8 sounds. But dx300 has a tuning that is between R8 and M8. So that makes it different.

Now back to M8 and it is more thick in flavor then 2 two others. Still M8 sit a part with its own signature just like 1z lol.

Possible because of the chip and power supply?
