And who knows what they will offer. :^)I think the "bugs" of this player, like the mid thickness is close to the fixable limits either by EQ or pairing. What cannot be fixed in comparison to MAX would be due to the technical limitations, like the punch with full sized headphones. It will never be as hard and fast as MAX. Also from my memory R8 was also a bit better than DX300 in turbo mode. Other than that it is not too far off in terms of capabilities.
It also depends on what you are pairing with. Is it IEMs or high impedance HPs?
