BTW! Neutron sounds amazing OOTB, but there are a few settings that take it to another level IMHO.

I know you weren't asking me about neutron, but I will also chime in. I think Neutron is the best player out there IMHO. Though MQA will play as just flac (it doesn't unfold at all). Yeah some of them have a nicer coat of paint, but when it comes to digital processing, dither, PCM to DSD, upsampling, etc... there is nothing that can do all the things Neutron can do. Not trying to be a fanboy because I DO like Mango, and UAPP, but I just keep coming back to Neutron for its sound quality.

Yeah, Auto-EQ is great! UAPP has something similar called Morphit, though it isn't nearly as big of a databse, and it isn't updated as often. I would love it if they could ever get Viper4android working on the DX300 IMO. It is great in its convolver plugin used (FIR filters).

I looked it up, really don't like the old looking UI lol but if it sounds better, that's irrelevant. As for MQA, its not necessary but it's cool to have. Just like auto eq, sometimes sounds best with it, and sometimes it doesn't. Foobar can't decode it and I really don't mind. Will definitely try Neutron eventually.

IIRC not many people actually used that to burn-in. But I can say, and many others here can report that burn-in is a thing with this player. We are talking about 100+ hours before it stops changing. From what I remember it will sound really good at first, then it will change to not as good, then finally it will become amazing. These are just general terms because I don't remember exactly, though you could do a search on this thread and see the different conversations. I think @Whitigir and @jamato8 (among others) kept a pretty good time log on this thread regarding burn-in.

I mean i read before you have buy a used player with amp 12. Right?? Than you must not more burn in. And i remember that your DX300 comes with amp 11. 1. Then the Player is older then one year. I think you have to burn in nothing more. Is done already my friend

This is a good point. Though I would say; and this is what I did, just burn it in by listening to it, and enjoy.... Don't worry too much about burn-in, or even the effects it might have, because unless you sit down to purposely try to hear the differences, you won't notice it anyhow right away IMHO. Just my $.02!

DX300 was used for less than 2 hours
He received his Chord Mojo 2 at the same time
It's a Amp11.2 actually
