10:20 in the video. What applies to android smartphones applies to the DAC unless Ibasso re-programmed it with android help. I mentioned this as well.

iBasso, Hiby, FiiO or others... They all have workarounds in Android stack for the resampling issue. For example Hiby:

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/r5-a-new-android-dap-by-hiby.912566/page-2#post-15111811

What he says there applies to a standart mobile phone, but not to any of those DAPs like DX2*0, DX300, Hiby R8, R6 etc etc.

 I admire you being so patience . Here is a shot of an actual Dx300 with MKII Amp11 doing 44.1 PCM, android/Neutron

And yet I was joked at for being right with the facts on my side!

Sure that sidesteps the Android os. However it is a workaround not native like I mentioned with largest ideas. Also were the coding solutions in conjunction with the third-party apps and android or just bypassed by the by Ibasso and other manufacturers?? If so it’s not official and Android can change it at any time if they so choose to do so by the record label request! He never once mentions ibasso in this post btw only hiby!

I predict the response is: doesn't matter you can't tell from just the app display and the status bar you need to sample the output!!!

besides that, as opposed to be declared in the video, UApp can play hires files from local storage also for standard Android Phones.
You can store these on your SD card and then specify the location as local library in UApp.
Depending on the UApp DAC support you will either get 1st unfold via UApp software or even more through the connected DAC/DAP

What HiBy has achieved, on the other hand, is a custom Android architecture that supports bit-perfect non-resampling output from all apps, as long as the app itself lays its hands off audio resampling. We call this the Direct Transport Audio architecture (DTA).
Also there are conditional requirements so don’t upgrade your third party apps or Android haha

Doesn’t work offline re-watch the video. The record labels want it that way unless the app is cracked, Dave Grohl and once it’s online again they un-crack it 🤦‍♂️

I tried to be diplomatic but ibasso cultist just wanted to be right so now I’m here for the entertainment value of seeing how they use mental gymnastics to make their claims appear true. 😄

? you can easily specify whatever music you bought from any official hires shop and play it from there offline without Internet connection.
Plus your own 16/44khz CD library which you sampled yourself.
What do you mean with cracked?

We first were able to use Android and hi resolution files with the DX100. No one else at the time had been able to use Android and hi res. We have been doing bit perfect for a number of years now.

So I attached a screenshot of my Moto G6 Android phone playing UApp with all wifi and mobile data switched off, airplane mode on.
Playing officially purchased hires album with 24/176 on my L&P W2 dongle...

And yet there is no explanation as to how This is done. Is it done with partnerships with MQA and Tidal, etc or just sidestepping and by passing android which again is an extra processing functionity like buffering

short on the details to how they are achieving bit perfect....but quick on the ordering process.

At least the Hiby post is more honest and gives you full disclosure!

just so we are clear on facts, MQA and Tidal are officially licensed on A&R SR25 that post almost identical specs and cast 699 vs the DX300 1,300. SR25 is also considered the base model of their line not even close to its flagships whereas dx300 is ibasso’s flagship!

Heck! The Topping D30 has identical spec cost 399 and it’s not Toppings flagship desktop. It’s also has balanced XLR cables

@Whitigir
Thank you for your input on the AMP11 MKII, made interesting reading.
Would you say the sound signature has changed at all over time for the MKII. I know you said it took over 250 hours for the MK1 to settle in, have you observed and change in the MKII over time?
Thank you for your input on this, it’s very helpful 😊
