I think I may have figured out why my 3Max is unable to connect to my iPhone 12 Pro Max running IOS 15.. Android 9 needs to be updated to enable support for WPA3 / SAE which IOS 15 uses for Hotspot connections..

Now, if only I could figure out how… can someone good with Android help?

My 3Max connected with my iPhone Xs (iOS 14) personal hotspot. Didn’t do anything special on max side.

Big jitter in transmitting data process leads to packet loss. To avoid it each data packet has one byte (8 bits) used for CRC transmission. ECC if CRC check did not pass request to retransmit the same data packet. If data transmission stuck in retransmission of the same data packet for a long time data transmit process will be end with error code (this happens when your memory card fails) - so, data will not be transmitted.
In regards to music files: no data = no sound. DAP will stop to play file. There is no any “skip” procedure for data transmission like it was for red book CDs.

The errors is related to time domains, and it would be “clicking” as Alex mentioned and as you said...no sound..just click ?. This brought to me that the Streaming and tidal issues could relate to this ? Possibly the router or network issues before the device or playback app, or firmware….but then again, I don’t stream.
