In my more than 20 years of experimenting in this hobby, everything in the path of the audio signal matters. From your electrical box to your ears.

Cables (all of them, power beeing the most ovious), anti-vibration tweaks, aftermarket fuses, etc. makes a difference to different degree.

I know that it's hard to justify yourself to spend 150$ on a small, invisible non sexy fuse (or micro sd card for the matter), but when you get past over this and you are willing to experiment, you invariably come to the conclusion that the 150$ price paid is at the end a really cheap tweak to improve the performance of your expensive system.

For that reason, I ordered a Micron i-300 512gb and I'm pretty confident that it will improve the performance of my 3MAX. If so, the card is 10% of the cost of the MAX. Even a more conventional will be 5%. So better performance for 5% of the cost of the unit? Count me in. Everytime!

I always find it a bit sad when people are spending thousands on system but are using generic cables and no attention towards vibrations and room treatments. They end up not hearing the full potential of their expensive gears. Not even close.

Of course that was simply IMHO.

That is a lot of time...nearly the same time I spent as a development engineer excluding the university. We both have our experiences to what to expect. If you are happy, why not. I am happy where I am.

Hello,
I have been checking with our head engineer to see if there is anything else that can be done. Audio Heaven can send it to us by UPS, which is fairly fast. We would take a couplle of days for inspection and repair and can send it back to you. I don't think it would take a month.

Next Monday,my 3Max, departs to Poland..It takes aprox 4 days …..the road begins…..

I have always heard only superlatives about iBasso's customer service. Fortunately there was never a need to contact them due to faulty hardware. Only once i wrote to Paul asking a battery replacement for the dx220 and he positively answered after a couple of hours. unfortunately cant comment here about the dx300 MAX, but my dx312 works like a charm- no problems, even slight issues. Im amazed by the this dap. But im sure they would respond very fast in case of any problems. I really really like iBasso since my first dap from them which was dx80.

Thats for sure! I dont want to spoil the thread here but im waiting for the tube amp for the dx300, even tho im in real love with my 312 which sounds amazing with my xelentos. But i always say: u never regret more warmth

It's not really a mystery to me either. And DX300 is a damn good DAP (though I wish they'd do something about them DRM issues, so it can add to its charms). Just teasing.

I don't think anymore Ti should be out. Otherwise, those 100 Ti are not special anymore...

It is crazy to think that Ibasso has gone this far. Ibasso house sound grabbed me back then with DX200. It was very similar to AK, but just better, as in more density and liquidity….until the Dx160 and 300, and I was asking myself where has my Ibasso gone ? Lol… but I always love Ibasso for the customer services and the friendliness toward the mod community. As I mentioned a few times already, Dx311 was not my cup of tea, Dx311 MKII is my favorite by far. Then all of a sudden, 3MTi dropped like a bomb and it has far exceeded every marks of my expectations.

Finally, I think I can answer that. Ibasso is trying to expand their products and house sound to grab larger markets. If this is true, then Ibasso has already done an excellent job. Especially knowing what they are doing, and did not leave the original fan of Ibasso house sound for too long !!!

Of course , I can’t help but falling in love even more
