I love the match between the 3max and the Peacock. The soundstage is impressive, the bass is controlled with high quality like the Dali 3 and 4 CDs and still good with Tidal. Its extremely musical and draws you into the music. Mids are impressive (still not sure whether I would calll it "neutral"). The Peacock brings you close to the stage. Instrunents are full bodied. No harsh sound at all. But also not fully precise and a little bit the opposite to a Clear.
The sound of the Utopia is much leaner, may be more neutral, but the soundstage is definitely smaller.
I hope, I used the right impressions. I'm not an expert in (english) headphone reviews, but may be, this helps to get an idea of the sound signature.
it does, thanks. Contemplating strongly going back into Ibasso DAP and a peacock purchase.

Bass is slowly surfacing after 12 hours of burning in, plugged in 3 holes 😂 . 2 holes in the bottom and 1 holes in the face 😂literally ***

just out of the box, using 2Max as references. Sub bass was like extinct, blooms were too fast and clean, vocal is ways upfront that I was thinking “Is this AKM?” Hell… it isn’t even ESS “LOL”. Over night, and now sub bass is decaying better, blooms are more presenting, and vocal is stepping back a notch now. The airiness of trebles and it metallic timbres are still presenting, even more lustrous but defined, biting and super clean!

I had a not so nice encounter with the 3Max Ti today. Listening to a flute piece, at the lower notes, probably reaching down to around 200+ Hz, it 'fuzzes' and meshes in with the other instruments. Whoa. Sounded messy. Tried it the VE8 that I managed to dig out and it was the same. Hopefully more burn in will resolve this.

Just curious, are you running burn in with power connected D and A or on battery between charging? Does the battery stop the charging when at 100%, don't know if the firmware has that capability yet.

Let's see how long the Stealth will last (aka why I skipped the TI).

Now that I have entered the headphone aspect of the hobby I fully intend to try these in the near future. 😂🤭

Are you using the burn in dongle thing or HD800s?
