Why Rockchip though :/ Also worried about 2GB of RAM here.
Looks to be a fast chip. Most likely will do what is needed. That is all I care about.

Yeah, I just checked this is said to be similar to the Snap 430/425.
Based on what iBasso put on their Facebook page "With the advanced process technology of the RK3566 the system response is significantly improved. The AnTuTu score now reaches 100,000 far exceeding the Qualcomm 430/425 platform commonly used by players of the same price range. The user experience is greatly improved and enhanced."

The brand new Hiby R5 Gen 2 uses the 425 and runs on Android 8, and the Shanling M3X uses the 430 and runs on Android 7, and both have 2GB of RAM, like this new iBasso.
This new iBasso DAP with this new chip that "exceeds" the 425 & 430, plus the addition of Android 11 makes this player seem like a big upgrade over their competitors in the $350-$450 price range (you can't really compare this to the over $500 range players with more RAM and better processor like the Qualcomm 660).

The only issue is battery life with the Hiby at 35hr and the Shanling at 20hr, and this new iBasso at only 11hr. But both those other players use the ES9219C chip which is a combined DAC/AMP which allows for longer battery life.

And I doubt they have the power and as a combined chip, most likely not the quality of sound. And I see that the DX170 is using two dac chips and some nice digital handling.

I may have to get my hands on one of these for review. I wonder how it will compare to the DX320?
