Not sure what you meant here. The wheel is meant to adjust the volume

I thought it was something like a slider like a brightness adjuster on the display

No 🤣. Why do you think an Audio Player would go all the trouble to add a wheel just for the brightness.

I think they fixed some typos in the latest firmware too :) I almost miss the "Mango Palyer"

Edit: Forget it... Found it on... er... Facebook yikes! =)

Anyone able share a link to the official iBasso 1.06 firmware?
I can't seem to find it on their Downloads webpage...
Currently on Lurker's 1.27, but have to update to stock 1.06 via SD card before I can try Lurker's 1.28 beta.
Thanks in advance!

have anyone tried flashing both purist rom and lurker add-on on their ibasso dx160?
As far as I know, only @DJ Core tried them both. Not sure whether he's still following this thread though, which is why I'm tempted to bug him with a PM.
I'm also very interested in knowing if Purist ROM has the upper hand over Lurker's add-on (which btw is giving me some unaesthetic green, purple and white lines on gray areas now, v1.06 + 1.28 add-on). Sound-wise. Exclusively sound-wise.

It looks like Purist Advanced ROM (which comes at a price, although not that high: 99.95USD) comes with a number of low-level sound optimizations, especially in its "Best sound quality" shape.
Tempting... I'd really love to know if it's worth it. Otherwise, I'll save those for my next IEMs. =)

Shut down and switch it on about 5 times and it goes away.

Wanted to know if it would be okey to use both the 3.5mm and 4.4mm ports simultaneously or not. Anybody did this?

Exclusively sound-wise. The Free Version of Purist ROM is what I tried. It was wider and more detailed than Stock or Lurker modded on Android, it had no Mango OS mode. Not sure if this has changed.
In Mango OS mode Lurker sounded as detailed as Purist but also more holographic.

I ended up staying with Lurkers on my 2019 DX160.

Just parted with the DX160 however after Listening to and buying the New Sony ZX507.
