I could use some help.

I am having some glitchy playback problems with my DX160. Paul suggested going back to Firmware V1.0. To Do That I evidently need to install this driver:

3. USB/DAC Windows Driver to be used with Windows computer for the above and loaded to the computer first.

I have tried several times, but at end of installation it says to unplug and reconnect the device from the computer. Did this MANY times, and still don't seem to be able to get the Driver to actually install. Can anyone give me some tips on what I may be doing wrong? (Is there a setting I need to change on the DX160 ?) I have Windows 10 home edition. I can connect to see internal memory and the sd card files on my PC. But tested and Foobar2K will not play files through the DX160, even when I select "IBASSO USB AUDIO Driver ASIO"

And IS the audio driver needed to go back to the V1.0 Firmware?

Appreciate any ideas/help.

EDIT: FInally after 6 hours and 50+ attempts, the Player was Re-set to V1.0 firmware. Have no idea why it would not work. Will report if glitches went away or not.

install Google play from apkpure then Amazon hd from Google play...and I have to say it it works faultless and sounds fantastic on the dx160.

Hi all,
I've just received the dx160 in blue flavor... for the burn-in method, there is any difference about which kind of connection to use? is it the same for 4.4 or 3.5 out? I haven't found any specific info about that.

You should probably just do the "listen to music" burn in method I know..I know...

you should use the 4.4 for "burn in" as it will utilize the full circuit of the amp section.

Yes, but even my Galaxy S10 got scratched by carrying it in my pocket. That's why recent versions of Android included an option to increase touch sensitivity! So...is the screen on the DX160 the same size as the DX150 for which (there are already screen protectors advertised)?
