Any chance you'll do a similar update for the DX150?
I hope soon iBasso will release firmware with AMP9 control and other fixes. Then I'll try...

By any chance, did you install any app that could be draining battery that fast? Otherwise, I think something could be wrong with your unit. Been using DX160 mostly for streaming in the last few days. From 4.4mm, wifi on, using Qobuz, streaming hi-res files with periodic screen on/off, and running virtual volume widget on top - I'm getting on average 8-9% battery drop per hr. Will do full charge and battery drain to zero tomorrow, to see how long it will last.

Based on what I'm hearing, DX160 has a very wide soundstage, even a little wider than DX220 w/amp1mk2, and also the sound of DX160 is more reference quality, even more transparent in comparison to DX220 with its stock amp. Another noticeable difference, tested with Andros and Solaris, and I can't hear any hissing even when idling or playing with volume down to zero, while with DX220 there is a slight "waterfall". A few people asked me how DX160 stacks up against M11 and R5, and based on what I'm hearing DX160 has improved dynamics and layering, and wider soundstage. Actually, DX160 more reference tonality kind of reminds me of LPGT.

Hi Alex, would like to hear from you comparison dx160 vs DTR1 mainly on the sound side please

Lots of folk here seem to already have DX160 yet there is no listing for purchase on iBasso site.

Explain.

I believe they’re available for purchase in China, outside those that received review samples.... think hifigo and eBay have some available now but you’ll pay over $399... pre-ordering USA/Europe only... been told they should be available middle to end of October... should note it’s not official, just what the shop I pre ordered from expected.

This is one sexy, awesome-sounding powerhouse.

Listening to Alice In Chains Unplugged, the HIFIMAN Sundara is good and loud at only 59 volume. And these are difficult to drive cans!

Did I mention it sounds sooo good? :)

That was all Paul's doing. I guess he wanted to see some Blues out in the wild. Glad he did. It's gorgeous.

Some of the users are reviewers, but you can get them from Moon-Audio currently. Their site says they have the black version available and "All other colors arrive late October 2019."
