what exactly does bit perfect mean?
It means, the digital audio data is transferred from the sourse file to the DAC input "as is", without modifications.

I use your add on Lurker, and I use Mango OS mostly. I really like it a lot, because it is easy to use, and it sounds really good! Will update to the new version in some minutes. Thank you!!

I like the size and battery life of DX160 having relatively excellent sound that I decided push further to have it modified by fidelizer
folks to make it even better. They are going to do some wild mods on this device. Let's see what they can come up with this time....

Good luck. Hope it goes well for you, and you like it even better. I am so loving mine thus far. I wouldn't say it puts my (aging) Fiio DAPS to shame, but it is noticeably better IMO.

so if the DX160 have added on FW by @Lurker0 , if we want to update firmware in the future, do we really need to do the factory reset? that means all the apps downloaded (player, streaming services) will be gone and need to redownload (along with all offline songs)?

In reality, there is no bit perfect....no ways to conduct a signal through an IC or any electrical components without the degradations. LOL!!

It all comes down to the simplest saying “does it sound good ? If so, then who cares ?”

This is true for analog signal, but not for digital - when only two (in most cases) levels matter. Does your computer you read this from work? Then it is bit perfect inside :D

I still find it odd the DX160 isn't listed on the official site. Newbies are wondering why it's not on their site if it's really their product lol

I've given up trying to answer that one. Probably a good thing too since if it were on their site I would have bought it then I would be caught up in yet another thread with so much negative press!! :L3000::ksc75smile:

IKR? I mean, it's almost like iBasso consider the DX160 still a beta device or something. LOL
