Yes I have and they paired quite well using the balanced output.
Thanks for the reply. Not sure if 'paired quite well' is enough to get me reaching for my credit card. However, I see you use F-Audio Major IEM's which are megabucks (to me), so if a £300 earphone performs 'quite well' when you are used to the F- Audio Majors maybe I should?!

Why has this thread suddenly gone quiet?

Well, if the balanced output really does hit ~750mw/channel @32ohms, then yes, it should have enough power to drive the HD800 to very enjoyable levels.

Where did you get the output power rating... it's actually missing from the specs, does anyone have figures?

Can anyone compare the Mojo with the DX160 in sound quality? which one offers better sound quality?
I have the Mojo and even started the tour and idea for having the Mojo on tour for Chord. I enjoy it. It is smooth and has a quality sound, IMO. The DX160 has a blacker background, more dynamics and more layered and more power. Having said that, I enjoy both because music is about enjoying what you are hearing and IMO, both do a great job at that. I will say that I like having everything in one package. I run the 1tb in the DX160 now and also use WiFi to stream Amazon Music with Ultra HD, so I am getting some very enjoyable times with the 160.

You can get it from the voltage and the ohms you are driving into.

Maybe lots of users returned their players. so nothing much to talk about. Others may just wait if the problems are solved before buying....
We have had very few returned out of the 1000s sold. The DX160 is also the best selling dap in Japan and continues to sell extremely well.

So a bit of advice for new purchasers. You want to hear a sound that opens up. Take a listen to them on open box. Just a tune or so, try not to judge. Let it play music non stop from a full battery charge. Prepare yourself.

This big a change?

Thanks for the advice just doing that :p

Anyone has an online calculator do figure that out?
I had one but I can’t seem to find it

Edit : found it => https://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/power-calculator.html

Wow that’s 1.5 W into the 26ohm of my EM10, 3W into the Fusion and a whopping 6.8W into the 6ohm of my FIBAE7 :astonished:
