    Hi Thomas
I had this exact same issue - I went back and downloaded and installed the original android O/S and THEN upgraded to the latest
    This then worked for me
    Hope that helps
    1, this one: DX150android O, Beta, Dec 14th, 2018 File size: 1KB2018-12-15
    and then
    2, this one: DX150android O, V1.0, Dec 26th, 2018 File size: 756.36MB2018-12-27
I then went to the latest and updated from that

@jon parker did you update the last one from the sd-card??

  4. jon parker
It didnt work for me to try to update the latest firmware from the SD card
I had to download the tools > install the early O/S > then update [using the tools] to the latest

Now that the hype of 8.1 has somehow dissipated... what are the real benefits of updating from 6.01? I enjoy pure Mango a lot and I am still in Lurker’s previous version.

What is the best size to have as the cover arts for this?

  9. jon parker
Not sure about the size although 1200x1200 or 1600x1600 we use at work
I would say it is more important to keep the file size below 500kb - If above 1MB sometimes this can cause a delay when moving from one song to another

    I find a cover art size of between 400 x 400 and 500 x 500 works well.

So I havent actually had a proper chance to try this with an SD card but I just tried using my SDXC . it clicks as if its going in but then it doesnt. Is the card not the right size?

Same for me - the fit is little tricky. With mine I have to push it down further than normal - you need to gently but keep pushing it in. Sometimes it feels like it kind of has to click in and then drop into its place
So click - then down a tad
    Hope that helps!

Oh dear, really? That sucks, mine keeps feeling loose and that little hook on the card keeps snagging
    im worried about damaging both ;_;
is it tough to get back out?

EDIT: I'm an idiot, was putting it in the wrong way...

If you are looking down at the screen the copper contacts on that back of the card should be facing upwards and enter the slot first - so it looks like its going in upside down
perhaps you are trying to put in it the wrong way up...because you are from Australia ?? :D
