I had the DX80 a while ago. Will the UI be similar to that? I have never had the chance to use the DX200. Liked the older interfaces like the DX90 and older Fiio X5ii. Have the X5iii now and while it is ok, I was sort of looking for less of the android OS and more of a pure player interface like Opus#1 had. I may need to look unto the 150 and see how it turns out. Call me interested.

The dual AK DACS is the draw for me. Much prefer these over the ES ones.

DX150 specifications:

OS: Android 6.0
CPU: 64bit 8 Cores A53
RAM: 2G LPDDR3
Rom: 32G eMMC
DAC: Dual AK4490EQ
Sample Rate: PCM:8kHz-384kHz(8/16/24/32bits) native DSD:DSD64/128/256
USB DAC Function: XMOS XU208, Thesycon USB driver.
WiFi/Bluetooth: 802.11(b/g/n/ac)(2.4Ghz/5Ghz),Bluetooth4.1.

Quick Charge: PD2.0, compatible with QC2.0.
Size: 128.5mm*69mm*19.5mm
Weight: 245g

Play time: approximately 10.5 hours when used with the DX150. This depends upon the resolution and current draw of monitors used. With higher resolution more CPU is used so the play time decreases. This is also true with higher demand monitors with more current draw.

AMP6 specifications and measurements with the DX150:

Specifications: (Measured with AMP6)

2.5mm Balanced Output:
Output Voltage: 4.8Vrms(without load) 3.7Vrms(32Ω load), 425mW THD+N<0.001%)
Frequency Response:10Hz-40KHz +/-0.5dB
THD+N:0.00028%,-111dB (without load @2.4Vrms)
0.00032%,-110dB (32Ω load @2.4Vrms)
Dynamic Range:118dB
S/N:118dB
Crosstalk:-119dB
3.5mm Single Ended Output:
Output Voltage:2.4Vrms(without load)
2.4Vrms(32Ω load), 185mW THD+N<0.001%)
Frequency Response:10Hz-40KHz +/-0.5dB
THD+N:0.0004%,-108dB (without load @1.2Vrms)
0.0004%,-108dB (32Ω load @1.2Vrms)
Dynamic Range:117dB
S/N:117dB
Crosstalk:-115dB
Line out:
Output Voltage:2.4Vrms
Frequency Response:10Hz-40KHz +/-0.5dB
THD+N:0.0004%,-108dB (without load @1.5Vrms)
Dynamic Range :118dB
S/N:117dB
Average Play Time: 10.5 hours with the DX150
The play time varies with different sample rate/bit rates, and headphone/IEM load.

DX150 sounds really sweet now that we've seen more specifications about it!

Really looking forward to it :)

Seems like a really balanced DAP from all points of view!

A bit curious what display is used in it, as DX200 really had one of the best displays out there :)

DX180 is already available, didn't you read about it? It's a DIY kit, you strap DX80 to the back of DX100 to use it as a spare battery :p

You...just...made me shoot coffee out of my nose bro! LOL

Other ibasso daps use ess or cirrus dac chips..waiting to see how they are going to impliment dual AKM dacs.i hope it will be better than x5iii implimentation..
The N5ii does not suffer from hardware implementation issues, imo, but from issues related to HiBy firmware.

I'm gonna be honest. It's probably better. That two minutes of listening to the DX150 put a smile on my face. Someone with both devices will have a better idea.

Anyone has an idea the max SD card capacity the DX150 can support? Thanks
The DX150 will accept what the standard is for the micro SD card. For now that seems to be 2TB. The largest currently available micro SD card is 400gb and it works without issue. That is a lot of music to enjoy!
