You download the zip file and then unzip it. There will be a new zip file and that is the one you use for the update.

Been using this new FW. The screen response now with DSD files is fast. Nice going.

Improvements with this firmware:

1. Folder Play function has been added. It can be found under Settings/Play mode.
2. Improvement to the UI response.
3. Rectified the bug that AAC and WMA can't be played via Bluetooth.

My thoughts exactly. Full bodied and smooth sound with a lot of details. Switching from the Pioneer xdp-100r, I find the Ibasso dx150 to be more musical and enjoyable. The interface on the Pioneer is much better though.

AFAIK the DX150 supports BT, but not aptX or aptX HD. Right? if so, is there any chance, that this could be implemented by a firmware update?

Lurker, correct me if I am wrong, I believe in your previous firmware version there was an issue with the USB DAC functionality not working at all or properly and you were working on a fix for it. If this was the case, is it corrected in this new version and functioning? I would like to try your FW but I use this feature quite a bit at work and cannot afford to lose it and was a big selling point of this DAP vs something else.

Not at all! USB DAC worked and still works!
