First of all, yes I know lots of threads have been opened regarding this issue but none with pictures which would help a complete noob like me. Therefore I was hoping someone could enlighten us noobs on what we are seeing.
I recently purchased Sennheiser HD650 with a Ibasso D10. I love the sound it has on my macbook pro with optical out but as I continued reading found an excellent review by Jamato8 regarding different combinations. When I connect my Sennheiser HD650 to the PS3 via optical to Ibasso D10 feel there is a lack of bass. Which made me wonder about changing opamps, or even buying a P3+Heron from Ibasso ti improve the power given to the sennheiser from the D10 originally. Does this make sense?
The Ibasso D10 comes with a kit with rolling amps. After reviewing previous threads I figured out there are 100s of other opamps out there but Ibasso comes with a kit already. Is it worth changing? If it is which ones should I change If i am looking for a fuller bass. And probably the dumbest question of all. To change them should I just remove and insert the new one or is there another trick to it which I am not aware of.
I am completely new at this and learning as time goes by as well as many others.
Thanks
