EDIT: Scrap that, messed with the memory wires and wow, it really is like a CIEM.

Also, my lord these are good with hip hop.

If anyone's looking for a cable with a mic: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0751831TV/

Leads to an insanely sleek look.

Are you talking about IEMs or your cool earrings?
LMAO I actually had to size those down. I had them at an inch (3/4" now) and the bigger lobes didn't fit inside my big cans.

These days I just take the plugs out when I'm listening on the big rig, so I might size up again.

Your inner ear canals must be a bit wide. Those tips won't fit mine. Shallow insertion would be fine but with the IT03's deeper insertion, small tips fit the best for me.

I have fairly big canals, it's true. I got custom molds done some time a go and the audiologist even mentioned it. The Starlines go alllllll the way in for me so the IT03 housing is flush with my ear and it's absolutely perfect.

Discovery:

The KZ Starline tips work REALLY well.

I have two sets of those unused as it is not worked for me, spiral dots in ML size is the best for me.

I do wonder why brands like KZ and TRN rip from other manufacturers (Campfire and iBasso, respectively). Headphones are kind of a niche market, it's not like you'll be walking down the street fooling people into thinking you're wearing Andromedas. Is it just that they like the design, or are the molds readily available, or...?

Some of those brands actually have potential to sound great. They just choose to copy other known companies' designs. Well, they got people to get curious. Still, if they can develop something good with their original design, then that can catapult them as one of the big brands. But I don't see that happening soon. They seem to care about selling in quantities and not much about aesthetic and quality.
