Hi, well story is my pair broke. Now im looking for a replacement. Wondering if anyone know where i can find a pair of 6PHIHP01's and/or how many dB's they cut out. Thanks! Also, if anyone has experience on Sennheiser 280Pro's I'd like to know how fragile they are/are they faulty. And if they are worth it sound quality wise. Thanks!

I'm sorry, I'm pretty sure you're the 2nd person to ever mention Ibanez headphones here. And the other guy had them only as a curiosity, along with some Fender headphones.

If you need to know something about them, contacting ibanez is your best bet.

Broken how?

Edit: And if you want to ask questions about HD280's, the thread title should probably say something about HD280's. You can edit that.

HD280's have issues with headband durability. It tends to crack after a few months of use, though the headphones still remain functional. SQ wise, I don't think they're worth it. They're not bad, but there's very little bass, and the soundstage tends to be a bit compressed. They're quite detailed and the mids are nice, so on the whole they're not bad sounding headphones - but there are better options for the same $ or just a bit more (A500!).

I didn't even know Ibanez made headphones.

I can almost guarantee you that neither Ibanez nor Fender really make headphones.

The question is who they bought them from.

From the look of their websites, they nolonger sell them, but it looks like the ibanez 'phones sell on ebay for between $20 and $30 when they show up.

The fender version sucked. Just rebranded. So Ibanez shouldn't be too different.

okay i was in the same situation until i found the headphones that ibanez used they are Logitech Elite 835B Adjustable Headphones, all ibanez did was slap on a new label and sell them in the jumpstart packages
