Iaudio X5 still my favourite!

I have had over 50 MP3 players, irivers, apple, Monoliths, stormblu, samsung etc etc etc.
I currently have a RH1 hi-md, Zen Vision M , iriver X20, Clix and my Iaudio X5.
I still think the X5 is the best unit i have had, it doesnt have id3 browsing (i dont use rockbox) , its screen is quite poor, it uses a subpack BUT it sounds awesome , its build quality is rock solid, battery life is fine and my battery still gives 10+ hrs after a year and i love the joystick.
On paper the vision M is a better unit, i dont think so though, it doesnt sound as exciting to me, the controls are a nightmare ( i dont like touch controls).
The Clix is fine but it feels like a toy, the x20s controls are a pain and i cant help feel it will fall to bits.
25gb music on my X5 and 3 seasons of family guy = happyness.

I've not only had a similar overall experience with the X5, but my X5 is loaded up the same way as yours!

X5 was such a great player. it's really a shame Cowon stopped making HD players. that player was so close to perfect.

true no complaints about mine, the L version battery I use it all the time and only charge it once a week. The only downside I see is that using the subpack with lineout there is a bass rolloff which is noticeable but I can live with it.

and where?
(shipping to ny would suffice)

here in germany they want $335 for the x5l 30gb

i read that the sound quality is so amazing, why would one use the line out then? (with amp?)
