I would like an amp from JMT, but I can't seem to get in contact with him. I sent him a few emails and PMs, but got no response. Is he still making amps? I use grado sr-80 phones and a denon mini-disc player and a sony cd walkman. If i do get him to make one for me would an altoids tin amp be as good as a meta42? I really like the looks of the altoids amp, but if it provides much less sound quality than the meta42 i'll go for that.

If i don't get JMT to make me an amp what would be a good alternative to having him make one for me?
