The first time I ever heard Fascination Street, it was not performed by The Cure but rather by a particularly good cover band in Seattle (Kry). I loved it, instantly, and because of nostalgia still do, but I miss hearing them play it. Now mind you, they play it exactly the same as The Cure does, but in a well set up live environment the instruments sound way better. The recording sounds like mud! Dammit I miss good live music!!!
To all of you guys that live in the Seattle area, are over 21 and like rock music, you owe it to yourselves to check out Kry. They are an awesome band! If you aren't over 21 you can probably still catch them at the next Taste of Tacoma.

BTW, ask them to play Fascination Street, they're really cool and will probably accomidate you. Tell Tommy (the lead singer) Emperor Tito says what's up! It's a goofy nickname he gave me since I used to work for The Giant of the Valley (Mazda, Kia, Hyundai, Suzuki, Mitsubishi) and the owner used to run commercials as "Emperor Tito."
