You people said that once you get more expensive headphones you'll think "better not eat this" but I have SR325s and I still chew on it like a mofo. Especially that little Y split.
I still can't stop chewing on my headphone cord!

Oh god! Personally, if I could, I would put all of my electronics equipment in glass cases and use them like that, lol.

Maybe you should put something nasty tasting stuff on the cord and then it will stop you over time from chewing the cord. It works for babies sucking their thumbs. Or wear a mouthgaurd.

Get a cat, and the accompanying cat box. When cat box is full, stick the cord in it (except the ends). See if it ever enters your mouth again.

Something that works for me is to stick my foot in my mouth as far as it can go and a little more then you won't be able to chew on the cord but you may want to wash your foot first...and after...
