Took me 15 minutes for each side, now I don't know if I should sharpie the clip as well. I need a fine pen so I can tidy up some of the edges a bit but otherwise I like how it looks. Maybe I will spray some overcoating on it as well for extra glossiness

Yeah, I tried to Sharpie my iBuds black awhile ago...rubbed off too easily, and made permanent smudges everywhere.

I've done that as well... it rubs off and it never dries and they smell like a sharpie forever after.

If you want a black ksc75, get a sportapro which uses the ksc35 drivers, which sound better and are black from the factory. You can put them on the ksc75 clips as well. The portapro also uses the ksc35 drivers but it's more expensive and their blue instead of black.

spraypaint? easy as pie.

I've tried this and I didn't know if I could get paint in any of the little holes, so I spent like 45 minutes plugging the big holes with just thr right amount of tack and filling the small holes with toothpicks I halved. After that there were still silver parts where the tack was, so I used a paint pen to touch it up, I ended up just doing the whole thing in paint pen. Just let the paint from the pen dry for a day then use your ksc's normally. The luster will go away and they wont be sticky anymore. Yeah.

As poster above said, problem with spray paint are the holes. Paint will get into the small holes in the cup. Since they are so small, it would be a major pain in you know what to close them up perfectly. However, special spray paint for plastics will give you the best results.
