Cool, the legendary CDP. IMO not really worth it for $149 if you're going to use it as a home player but still pretty nice to own a part of history.

Why doesn't anyone ever talk about the AKAI PD-X73?

As far as I know, the AKAI PD-X73 was rebadged as the Optimus 3400 and sold through Radio Shack for the U.S. market.
