I just got home about an hour ago with my new xbox 360. I got perfect dark zero, PGR3, and Condemmed. I love this thing. Perfect dark is so much fun.

I got an original Xbox, which I haven't touched in months, and finally gave to my son (who doesn't touch it much either because he worships his Gamecube).

But, for some strange reason, I want a 360 now. I can't explain why.

Really the only thing that has held me back has been availability (and cash

). Also, it kind of bugs me that you can't play all the old games on it (only the ported ones). I've go around 30 games.

Maybe I'll wait till the box/games are cheaper and more readily available.

I had an xbox for some time as well, never liked the games and sold it. Nevertheless the 360 does look interesting.

Does it still overheat?

I just got the 360 to play -Oblivion- since my desktop can't handle it and my laptop is a Mac. But I think I'm going to have to get a chainsaw to carve through that stupid packaging!

Oh, it would be great if you could share some impressions of the game. Also compared to Morrowind, which I didn't really like because of an overdosis of text, which I felt like I had to read.

I'll be happy to! But you should also check out the existing "TES: oblivion" thread.
