Hi, I'm gonna buy new headphones for Christmas. If it were for me I would like a Sennheiser 595 or Bey770 because I've read a lot of good things about them. But I cannot spend that much money, my budget is around 70$ and that's where I need your advice.

Main use: All kind of metal music + videogames + movies. (No favourite order)

The movies and music come from the computer which has a good integrated sound card (Soundstorm, was very good a few years back), videogames from computer and videogame consoles. Everything is plugged into a Creative DDTS-100 Decoder, so the headphones will be plugged in there I guess.

My actual headphones are a Sony MDR-XD100 which aren't very good, but didn't have much of a choice at the moment, so my new headphones must be better than that. (I don't think that will be very difficult...)

If you need more information just ask

Thank you for the advice. I would prefer them closed but it's not that important.

What about the Equation Audio RP21?
