Hi,

I own a pair of HD-600's and they're absolutely great, I love them

However there is one problem, they are absolutely not portable at all. Its a big hassle lugging them everywhere just to get some decent sound and they're always messing up my hair as well (<-- has a large afro). So I'm interested in some new phones when I'm on the go, and I really like the ety's, but I know they are not the only company making these types of phones.

In terms of quality and price, they should be around the same price of the ety's, and the same quality or a little bit lower depending on price. Also, list whatever phones that go in your ear and offer the best price to performance ratio.

Thank you

You can buy Shures(models:e1,e2). Or you can buy ETYMOTICS ER-6(produces good sound quality and costs less thena half of er4 price).

The e2's look like their up my alley but is there any difference in the way they fit and the ety's ?

Thanks

generally speaking they both seal ur ears. but the shures are fitted in a completely different way

for one, the earphone cable has to go on top of ur earflap, hard t explain but here's a picture of the e5 in action (completely same concept)

enjoy

EDIT:Note you dont actually have to wear the cable going down ur back, I do it going down the front, makes it much easier to keep the earphones from being dragged out by the cable

It's the best one for portable use (best portable headphone ever?), and you can buy the adapter to make it an ER4S.
