Hello, I've got my Jupiters here and now I'm attempting to find the right tips for them and my ears. I use to use Westone 4Rs and used the largest silicon tips that came with them and it worked well. Isolation was nice, comfortable, easy to take in and out, bass was great. I'm basically looking for an equivalent with experience but with my Jupiters.

I tried out the Comply 400s on my Juipters and I found them to be great. Isolation was insanely good, bass was very huge, but the highs were a bit dulled down and the after awhile they started to become uncomfortable. When I'd tug on them slightly, there was just the right about of resistance.

I tired the Campfire Audio silicon tips that came with the Jupiter and they didn't do much for me at all.

So, I ordered the JVC Spiral dot tips in Medium and they aren't that bad. Highs are nice and sparkly more so than the Comply, but bass seems less impactful or huge sounding and isolation is disappointing compared to the Complys. The seal seems okay though because when I pull them out there is some resistance. Is this just how they are suppose to be? Should I go larger and return the Mediums? Should I just go Large or should I go Medium-Large?

What other tips should I consider. I'll be honest, it's becoming a pain in the buying and trying tips. I could really use some suggestions on where to go from here.

I've been on a similar quest for my CA Vegas. Currently using the stock foams in medium. They are ok. I had to order more as they are the only functional option so far. My Spinfits have a tendency to cause my left ear to sound muffled. I think the seal may be exerting pressure on the driver?! My left ear canal is a bit bent, so I really have to push it in there.

I ordered the Spiral Dots and the double flange Spinfits. Failing that, I may look into custom moulded tips.

So, just got my double-flange Spinfits in the mail (crushed box from Japan). I can't deny it's crazy that these things cost what they cost for 1 pair.....but anyways.

The double-flange has a clearer and crisper treble. Less muffled sound. The bass still slams on the Vega's, but I think the additional treble makes it sound less like a small venue concert hall, and gives the presentation some more room to breathe. Similar experience to regular Spinfits vs. foams, but for whatever reason, the regular Spinfits (which I used for over a year on the Angies perfectly fine) wouldn't sit right with the Vega's in my ear. The double flange gets pretty deep, ensures the canal is facing the right way and not "spun" into the side of my ear canal but doesn't exert too much pressure. A bit more finicky to get seated just right but once in, seem to be better than foams so far. They will last longer as well. I do wish they had a few more color choices. The NuForce ones are frosted white and frosted black, which look WAY better.

Will see how the Spiral Dots go when they get here.
