I am trying to sell my two hps but I do not have the privileges to do so. Also I entered a contest that requires 15 posts but I don't see how I can accumulate that without just saying meaningless mush all around.

How do i get privileges to sell and any easy way to get post count up?

I can here to try to sell initially, I still haven't sold anything via head-fi, but I ended up using ebay and as I bought more headphones I participated in the forums to share my thoughts and hear from others about the gear we share. So maybe you should go about it naturally and ask questions about gear you have been curious about?

So have you had better results on Ebay than you did here? I am working on my post count with the intent to sell a few items here as well. I had thought I would have better results here since the community is focused around headphones and related gear. I had an Ebay account years ago but have not used it in years.

I simply haven't bothered to sell anything on head-fi yet. Ebay is simple and user friendly, however they will charge you a fee at the end of the month for using their site.

However buying headphone you may be better off using this site, I just bought a pair of hd700 from ebay a month ago and the pads and headband were in disgusting shape, the pics on ebay were so bad I couldn't really tell how ugly they would look in person, anybody lurking a thread like that here would've spotted it for me before I bought.
