So right now I have been getting into high end audio. I am looking for a good pair of headphones that sounds good with pop and rap music as well as some female vocalist and a little bit of rock music. I have mostly narrowed it down to the beyerdyanmic t90, senhizer HD 700, and the hifiman he 400i becuase they are similarly priced but I'm open to suggestions. I would also like something that's looks okay and comfort is a must. Clean and punchy bass is something that i'm really looking for.  Thanks for any suggestions or comments

Currently my Beyer T90 are my preferred headphone for all audio :)
Just like the clarity.

Have not heard the T90's or the HE-400i so can't say on those. I have the HD-700's HE-400S and modded HE-400's. the modded 400's have good punchy bass and the 700's as well. The 700's have much better soundstage and resolution but the 400's are just fun for the right kind of music when you just want to jam out. Both need a amp to get the most out of them but I think all headphones do IMHO.

For pop and rap I would pick HD650 and call it a day.
If you want bigger stage and more lively treble check the Fidelio X2.
If you have more money look at the Audeze LCD-2

HD700 and T90 will rule out good part of your recordings.
These are better suited for acoustic, classical, opera, warm jazz, you know...

That kind of music barely has any imaging cues in it, and when it does it's just a few select artists. If you can ditch imaging, I'd pretty much just get the Grado RS-1, practically any decent portable DAC-HPamp, and that's it. You won't get a lot of rumbling bass if your kind of rap music is more like Lil Jon, but then again none of the headphones you listed will get you Beats-level bass that apes a ghetto Escalade anyway.
