Does anyone have a suggestion for getting an extension for my headphone cable? I don't plan on upgrading my HD580s cable for now, but i need to pickup a 10' or so extension. I have a really inexpensive radio shack cable but would like something a little thicker, maybe close to the one that came with the headphones. I didn't find anything on sennheisers website.

Do you guys suggest anything?

Here's what Headroom has available for looking thru:

But someone else will have to steer you towards a product they actually used as I have only owned really cheap Rat Shack stuff myself. Although that DiMarzio SilverAudio extension for $59 looks pretty good to me......

I use the DiMarzio Big Red without any substantial loss in sound quality.

There are others at Headroom

Now the question comes in to play: what are you willing to spend?? The range of stuff on Headroom goes from about $50 to almost $90. REad carefully and maybe call Headroom to see if they can point you in one direction or the other dependent upon your particular musical tastes and equipment.

Hmm.. at that kind of cost I think I may just save up and buy a Clou Blue cable for my headphones. How long is it anyways? It doesnt say on the site. Or is it 10' also?

Thanks Mark!! It's good to know that someone has actually tested some of these things head to head. Too often I, like many others, base an opinion on what we have heard/read/liked. These informed opinions where someone took the time to compare several units really helps us make much better decisions. That is not to say that someone with one unit under test can't make a good review, but at times there is no frame of reference to help us. Far too often the responses we get are, "How does it compare to ???? unit?"

Thanks Mark!!!
