They were so light, could be worn cord down, and didn't have to be shoved terribly deep into my ear canals to sound great and fit snugly and securely.

Anything similar in quality, comfort, and fit?

Wearing cord down is a must for me.

Etymotic ER4S? I haven't tried them, but they've got the form factor you want.

Campfire Comet is possibly the right shape, but probably not lightweight.
