I miss "albums"... You know, this thing that had 30 to 50 minutes of music that you played from start to finish... What are some of your best sounding favorites?

I don't think that the album is dead at all.  Maybe the albums being shipped by the million aren't great concept album, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Recent album purchases:
Bassnectar - Vava Voom
Bjork - Biophilia
Iiris - The Magic Gift Box
M.I.A. - Vicki Leekx (In fact, M.I.A. felt that it was so important for this particular piece of work to be listened to in it's entirety, she released it for free as a mixtape.  The tracks aren't separated.  It's just a ~35 minute piece of music.)
Lana Del Rey - Born to Die
Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart

My brain is overloading right now with albums that are solid start to finish, maybe some of y'all are listening to bad music?  HA!

But the first two that come to mind are:
Yes - Close To The Edge
The Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed

Katie Melua - Pictures

Beach Boys - Endless Summer

Most of the times I just listen on random so I don't often listen to albums. These two are good examples of how an album can revolve around a theme. :)

Those two Porcupine Tree albums are really excellent to listen from start to finish.  Nice flow to the sound and lyrics.
