I am looking for a set of headphones to use with my computer for playing games. I am looking at the hd515 and the ATH-a500. I think that since it is coming out of my usb audigy 2 that the 120 ohm and 66 ohm resistance is a little high and I dont want ot have to get an amp. What other headphones should I be looking at I would like them to be under $100. I can get a set of ATH-PRO5MS for $65 on ebay but I dont know if the 40mm driver will be too small as compared to the 53mm from the a500. The most important thing is the clarity and soundstage. Bass is not that much of an importance but need some because its a game, gunshots sound better with bass. Thanks.

HD515s are not that great a deal, check out HD485s instead. Oh, and do torture the search function with "games" in this very forum.

go with the A500's. I have my HD201 as my gaming headphones, they're not that bad.
