EDIT: This is in regards to the "under God" thread - sorry for not giving anyone any context.

With the one exception - who's post I had the fortune to miss...

This was a wonderful experience and enjoyed it personally.

Special thanks (in no particular order) to:

Now, back to the music!

BTW, where were you for that debate? I don't recall "seeing" you there. Or were you too smart to "hit that tar baby"?

I agree for a time it was a good diversion from the music and headphones.

Now something important!

What kind of musicdo you listen to Shorten?

Musical taste run the gamut:

gritty blues - especially loosely strung slide

Classical

CCM (Contempory Christian Music)

Non-Jazz Jazz - Sade, Earl Klugh, M. Bolton, and yes even the
"G"-ster

80's dance - what we used to call New Wave

Blue Grass

I'll even listen to Country in the car (sometimes)

Southern Gospel - similar to Blue Grass but with harmony.

Even some New Age - espicially Andres Vollenwielder or how ever he spells it.

Let's see...did I leave anything out?

I was really straining to go there , better judgement prevailed.Down that path were serious boobie traps so i decided to skirt that trail and take another path.

Not that I am not up to a good debate (I EARNED the monicker Jude hung on me , the one under my avatar) ,it is just that some topics you KNOW will deteriorate at some point into either outright name calling or hurt feelings.

If you haven't read it, it was actually much better for much longer than I figured it would last.

It is incrediably(sp) long though...and it was getting ready to succumb of it's own weight if it hadn't been killed by sabatoge.

Oh, well...If you are ever having trouble sleeping...

It's interesting how one post out of 196 can get an entire thread shut down. ...

shorton, maybe we have something else to debate in your music tastes.

What taste?
wink.gif

I mean in regards to which genre?

There are only a few types of music that I don't like something of, and even fewer that I just really can't stomach.

You gonna enlighten me, dude?

Looking forward to it...

I like your first statement. We can get goin' good on that one.

I bailed on that other thread fairly early. Stomach problems -- no guts.

May try to get one goin' soon. Enjoyed your posts. Didn't always agree, but sometimes even you can be wrong. (Note tongue in cheek)

Sometimes it pays to stick to noncontroversial topics that can be discussed rationally, such as interconnects and power cords...
