Add me to the list of people that have the Audio Techinca A1000s coming. I just ordered from audiocubes. I'm also going to get the Sony CD 3000 along with the Earmax Pro in couple of weeks. Hopefully I can do a good review of these two phones for everyone. I was going to use the money to get the Sony R 10, but it seems to confusing and complicated to buy. Besides, I should be able two enjoy the ATH A 1000s and the CD 3000 a lot anyway. That should do it for the headphone products for awhile. My wife will put a stop to it as soon as she finds out, thats for sure. I feel a little guilty spending so much money on stuff like headphones, especially when there is a lot of people that need money for basic needs. Oh well, what can I say, this is a fun hobby.

I'm definitely interested in an A1000 to CD3000 comparison seeing as I own the A1000 and am really wanting to hear the CD3000.

HI: How are you? Congrats on your new purchess of the A1000. I hope you like them as much as I do. I found very little difference in burn in so enjoy right out of the box.

I think after about a 10 hour burn in I did notice the highs were more mellow.

WOW!! Now that's jumping in with both feet. You should be quite pleased with the sounds of those headphones as they represent some of the best products of both companies!! Please make sure to post your thoughts on all these items once you get them in!! I would also like to see what you think of the A1000/CD3K comparison with the EarMax Pro!!
