You want an answer. I can answer you. I dont have a woman either. Most of them that do, have kids. They have to support thier kids. Plan for the future. Save up for houses, cars, college education. Some women dont understand a guy needs for gadgetry. Women also like to have things for themselves. I think the reasons are more common sense than anything.

Money is almost always short. Try to live with somebody and you notice you pretty soon are in the situation. Theyre not evil, theyre female and not audiophile. I bet most of us cant understand women & shoes

I don't have a grumpy old hag.
My wife is supportive of my headphone purchases.
When I wanted to buy my Grado RS-1's a while back she asked if those were the ones I had been wanting for so long, and when she heard that I could get them for $450 she actually encouraged me to do so. I may not have done it without her encouragement.

Tuberoller must be the luckiest guy in the world. His wife is into all his gadgets! She's apparently either an audiophile or at least appreciates good gear! Jesus, we should all be so lucky! It's the rare woman that understands expensive gear!

Those that are actually getting sex from their woman, know how important it is to listen to their concerns from time to time. Sorry if you can't understand that Merton

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that your sense of self-preservation might leave a little something to be desired. Have you thought about hanging around at biker bars?

See, it goes like this Merton...every month!

$800.00 for motgage
$600.00 for vehicle payments
$200-$300 for utilities
$98.00 for vehicle insurance
$160.00 for gas
$500-$600 for groceries
$260.00 for student loans

and then there are the seasonal expenses like snowplowing, paying through the ass for propane gas, etc, etc. Then there are the miscellaneous expenses that a 15 year old boy requires for sports, school, entertainment, etc.

Hmmmm...I had an extra $500.00 kicking around this month. New piece of audio equipment or my son's baseball camp? I think the choice is obvious here. BTW, my wife does not bitch about my recreational purchases.

Once you grow up, and get away from mommy, you will understand where I am coming from
