I need help keeping one of the two so I can sell the other one. Would I keep Sennheiser HD 800 or audeze LCD X?

I love both of them but wondering what most people prefer.

Like I said I'm making this thread so I can sell one.

It doesn't matter what other people think about.
What sounds best to you is worth to keep. :dt880smile:

Put both up for sale and see which one sells first. Problem solved. :L3000:

I owned both and ended up selling both. Do you need to sell right away? If not, keep both for a while to see which one that you use more often. I think each excels at different types of music. Which one sounds the best to you with the music that you like best?

I like the sound stage A LOT for the HD 800 but overall sound for the LCD X. Also the comfort for the HD 800 is like way better.
It sounds like neither one is the perfect headphone for you. If the LCD X isn't comfortable, and the HD800 tonality isn't to your liking, sell them both and find a headphone that has the tonality and comfort that you desire. Only you can decide which one or neither will be the best for you in the long run.

Sounds like you need to merge the 2 and buy the LCD 2C... a wider less neutral sounding LCD X
I don't think the 2C is any more comfortable than the LCD X. Both are heavy. Maybe something like a ZMF Aeolus would meet his needs.

I own HD800 for many years and I still love it. Only hear LCD 3/4 in a cam jam but not interested in those. Could not remember why I didn't have interest in it. Or maybe I am just a Sennheiser fan.. But other planar magnetic phones like Abyss do impress me with the details.
