I don't know why owning both the DT770 Pro 80's and the DT880 Premium 250ohms ... but every time I see the superlux hd330's or 660's on line I get tempted to buy them ... but then I don't because i figure after i got done playing with them as a new toy ....they'd never get used...   but then I see a photo of them again and almost buy them all over again.

should I just give in and buy them just to play with ..anyone own either of these / compare them to the beyers mentioned?

Don't own any of those just have heard the 880's. You have to get them out of your system give them a try or you will be wondering what you missed.

If you already have the DT770 & DT880, no reason for buying the HD330/HD660.
While sound wise they offer an almost DT770/DT880 sound for a much better price, they also come with a cable that is too stiff for much uncoiling, the DT330/HD600 (with stock ear pads) have a tight claim :frowning2:
I had some well used Beyer EDT770 V ear pads that i put on my HD660, which really helped on the comfort, but still never want to use them.

If you want some fun with a relatively cheap headphone get the Pioneer Se A1000 which is a quality bargain and also different from your Beyers in terms of sound signature.

thanx for the replies... I actually already have the SE-A1000's got them on close out at bestbuy for $35 ...   I don't know.. maybe I'll just try to curb my desire for new toys...I have a number of headphones that causes my wife to grumble as is... (ath-m50 , m50x, Sony V6's , pioneer SE-A1000, Takstar HD5500 and my beyers DT770 and 880's ).... I think what I will try to do.. is chill and wait for massdrop to have the Senn HD6XX's again.

If I'm going to get flak about bringing more headphones home it should probably be something worth the flak????    or since they are cheap... maybe I will buy them and hide them from my wife

Just plan on buying a dozen red roses next time you buy headphones.
