I recently bought a Creative Zen Xtra 40GB model for $200 CAD. It's a bit large (and everyone feels the need to remind me

) but it sounds good and holds quite a bit of music. I've been wondering though, if it would be worth it to sell it and get and spend a little more on another player. I'm not really worried about the size issue, I'm just curious as to weather or not it would be a significant increase in sound quality if I were to go from my Zen to maybe an iAudio X5 and if it would be worth the difference in price. As I'm only young I only have another $200 CAD...

Although it's not quite as polished as some other players, in terms of sound quality the Zen series are among the best out there. If size isn't that much of an issue for you then you might not find the swap worthwhile, especially if you are on a limited budget.

If you're happy with it then hang onto it, otherwise you could take a look at the Zen Vision:M 30Gb if you have some money to burn
